During his remarks, President Khachaturyan highlighted ongoing processes near the villages of Voskepar, Baganis, Kirants, and Berkaber in the Tavush region, which primarily aim to clarify the boundaries between Armenia and Azerbaijan. “We must realize that if there is a state, it must have borders, and the future of this state will depend on how well these borders are defined with its neighbors,” he said, noting that this would help prevent possible escalations in the region.
Khachaturyan also mentioned that in many cases, the authorities are unable to share details of the negotiation process with the residents of the villages in the delimitation zone, as it could interfere with reaching a final agreement.
“I believe that we are much more interested and responsible for what is happening,” President Khachaturyan stressed, with his comments being reported by Armenpress.
