Serbia is planning to boost its existing gas reserves, and the authorities will be negotiating with Russia, Hungary, and Azerbaijan to achieve this. This announcement was made by President Aleksandar Vučić during a broadcast on Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS).
“Currently, we have 544 million cubic meters of gas, of which 381 million are stored in the ‘Banatski Dvor’ storage facility, and 163 million are stored in Hungarian storage facilities. I am not satisfied with this. We need to increase the volumes, and we must talk about this with our Hungarian friends. We need to increase our reserves, so we should discuss this with the Russians and Azerbaijan as well,” Vučić noted.
