On June 26, at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the President of Azerbaijan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, was presented with a C-27J Spartan military transport aircraft manufactured by the Italian company Leonardo.
The event was attended by Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Edmondo Cirielli, and President of Leonardo Stefano Pontecorvo.
