During the meeting with the Council of Europe Secretary-General, Ali Nagiyev informed about the security situation in the region, emphasizing that Azerbaijan is always interested in restoring sustainable peace in the region. He highlighted that the Azerbaijani government provides comprehensive guarantees for the peaceful coexistence of citizens of Armenian origin living in the Azerbaijani territory in Karabakh, discussed the efforts made by Azerbaijan to protect their rights and freedoms, the efforts aimed at ensuring well-being and stability in the region, and the importance of normalizing relations with Armenia and signing a peace agreement as soon as possible.
