According to the information, the Secretary-General regarded Azerbaijan’s accession to this Convention as an important event, emphasizing the bilateral relations that have developed over many years, and expressed confidence that cooperation will continue to be successful in the future.
Secretary-General Marija Pejčinović Burić noted that the Council of Europe has always attached great importance to maintaining peace in the South Caucasus, and the organization can provide necessary support to this process.
