On April 30, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory message to President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, on the occasion of Israel’s national holiday – Independence Day.
In his message, the Azerbaijani head of state emphasized the special importance of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Israel, noting the high level of bilateral relations based on historical ties, mutual respect, and trust. Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, defense, and humanitarian projects.
The President recalled his meeting with Isaac Herzog in Davos this past January, describing the dialogue as constructive and valuable for deepening strategic cooperation. He reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the traditional friendship and expanding mutually beneficial collaboration in the interests of both nations.
In conclusion, the Azerbaijani leader wished the President of Israel good health and success, and expressed his wishes for peace, stability, and prosperity to the people of Israel.
