Because Azerbaijan, by conducting an anti-terrorist operation on its sovereign territory against separatists and occupiers, has once again ensured the supremacy of international law and at the same time restored its sovereignty, observing all humanitarian norms.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made this statement on December 15 at a meeting in connection with the hosting of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change – COP29 in our country next year.
Noting that some Western countries, and traditionally France, are not willing to accept this, the head of state said, “Although the international community now sees that even Armenia has come to terms with this situation, and the COP29 conference once again demonstrates this. However, some political leaders in France try to be more Armenian than the Armenians themselves. But they will have to come to terms with this situation too.”
