The President asserted, “We are the leading state in the Caucasus, and everyone must take us into account. The delimitation is carried out on our terms.” He underscored the peaceful recovery of four villages in Gazakh, which were occupied in 1990 and 1992, marking this as yet another victory for Azerbaijan. “This will continue in the future. We have the right of say here; we are the leading state in every aspect—economically, politically, militarily,” Aliyev emphasized.
Highlighting the broader geopolitical landscape, President Aliyev warned external forces and Armenia, suggesting they will regret not considering Azerbaijan’s interests. He noted that any resurgence of revanchist attitudes in Armenia or lethal weapon supplies from France that reach a critical level should not offend anyone if they provoke a firm response from Azerbaijan.
“Our policy is based on international law and justice,” Aliyev stated, adding, “Everyone knows what we are capable of, what our army can do, and how firm our will is. No one will be able to stand against us.”
