The aim of the protest was to draw attention from both Italian and international audiences to the problem of landmines laid by Armenia in Azerbaijani areas, calling for the release of detailed minefield maps.
Participants of the protest highlighted the ongoing civilian injuries and fatalities caused by these mines.
The demonstrators held up signs with messages like “Stop Armenian terrorism,” “Demand an end to mine terrorism,” and “Call for an end to ecological terrorism,” appealing to Armenia to engage in peaceful actions and to disclose the locations of these hazardous areas.
