The event was supported by the State Committee on Work with the Diaspora. The forum opened with a panel discussion on the topic “Education Abroad, Service to the Homeland: Learning Abroad to Serve the Country,” moderated by Elvin Huseynov, a leading specialist in pulmonology at Helios Klinikum Siegburg. Various ideas and proposals were presented, focusing on the contribution of doctors to the development of medicine both in Azerbaijan and internationally.
The panel featured prominent specialists from various medical fields, including Mammad Mammadov (invasive cardiology, Gütersloh), Dr. Tural Gelbinur (ophthalmology, National Prime Hospital), Professor Qurbanxan Muslumov (coloproctology, M.Topchubashov Scientific Surgical Center), and others. Participants shared their experiences and suggested new approaches to addressing challenges in the medical field.
The forum continued with another panel discussion titled “Harmony of Scientific and Clinical Experience: The Secrets of Joint Success,” moderated by Professor Ramazan Jabbarli from the Neurosurgery Department of the University of Essen. The discussion involved specialists such as Dr. Khayal Qasimli (gynecology, Frankfurt University), Dr. Mirhasan Rahimli (surgery, Magdeburg University), Dr. Elvin Piriyev (gynecology, EKK Weyertal), and several other doctors.
Gathering around 200 Azerbaijani doctors from 81 cities across Germany, the forum became a vital platform for sharing scientific discoveries and discussing innovative medical solutions. This event is part of a successful series of forums, which began in 2022 in Cologne and continued in 2023 in Berlin, all organized with the support of the State Committee oon Work with the Diaspora.
