On August 27, under the leadership of Samir Nuriyev, the head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), a delegation of committee members visited the Baku Olympic Stadium.
According to Report, the visit commenced with a presentation by the Azerbaijan COP29 Operating Company, providing insights into the progress of the preparation process. The delegation, led by the head of the Presidential Administration, then proceeded to inspect the designated Blue and Green Zones, as well as the spaces allocated for the Leaders’ Summit, country pavilions, plenary halls, side events, media, and other key areas. They also assessed the ongoing construction work of the necessary infrastructure.
As the visit concluded, Chairman Samir Nuriyev issued directives on relevant matters.
