Report informs, citing the press service of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the Azerbaijani and Bahraini delegations discussed the current state of bilateral relations and explored prospects for further cooperation during their extended-format meeting.
The talks covered a wide range of issues, including political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, and humanitarian initiatives. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening ties through high-level mutual visits, regular political consultations, and the establishment of a structured economic cooperation mechanism, the ministry stated.
The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to continued mutual support and solidarity on regional and international platforms such as the UN, OIC, Non-Aligned Movement, and CICA.
Minister Bayramov also briefed his Bahraini counterpart on the post-conflict situation in the South Caucasus, progress in the peace process with Armenia, reconstruction efforts in liberated territories, and ongoing demining activities.
