This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.
According to him, the initiatives and appeals made in the UN Security Council aimed to obstruct Azerbaijan’s local counter-terrorism measures carried out to restore sovereignty over its internationally recognized territories.
“There have been attempts by Armenia and third parties to strengthen illegal armed formations remaining in Karabakh and to threaten the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan,” added the minister.
