This was stated by MP Tural Ganjaliyev at today’s session of the Milli Majlis, reports APA.
The deputy noted that in a park in France, inscriptions have been removed, and offensive steps have been taken regarding the statue of Khurshudbanu Natavan:
“UNESCO, which is responsible for preserving cultural heritage in the world, is located in France. France is the last country that can teach Azerbaijan and other countries about human rights and cultural heritage. Since the 1960s, France has conducted more than 200 nuclear weapons tests in French Polynesia.”
Deputy Hikmet Babaoglu noted that the monument to Natavan in France was barbarically dismantled:
“However, when during the 44-day war France voiced anti-Azerbaijani statements, no one burned the works of Hugo, because Azerbaijan is home to a cultured people.”
