During the latest consultations between the delegation of French Polynesia and the Baku Initiative Group, the implementation of the grant project “Strengthening Global Initiatives in the Fight against Neocolonialism and Colonialism” was discussed. This project has already begun with the financial support of the Azerbaijani State Support Agency for NGOs.
An exchange of views took place regarding the contribution of the Tavini party to the implementation of the project.
As part of this project, a legal analysis will be conducted on cases of human rights violations in overseas territories where France pursues policies of colonialism and neocolonialism. A detailed report will be prepared and presented to international organizations and other relevant stakeholders.
The project will be implemented from June to October of this year.
The delegation of French Polynesia is visiting our country at the invitation of the Baku Initiative Group, and discussions are ongoing regarding cooperation prospects in various fields.
