Chairman of the State Committee met his Israeli colleague

The meeting focused on the activities of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs of Israel. Various programs and projects and prospects of cooperation were discussed and the activity of the Jewish community in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Israel was highly assessed at the meeting. It was noted that the Jews, who have migrated from Azerbaijan should be involved in different joint projects.

It has been noted with satisfaction that Azerbaijan and Israel are reliable partners, historical and friendly ties exist between the two peoples. Israel’s support to Azerbaijan during the Great Patriotic War and post-war period was touched at the meeting.
