“Azerbaijan and Poland have ancient relations which are developing on a rising line in the economic, trade and humanitarian fields”, told Secretary of State.
Thanking the Secretary of State for the warm reception, the Chairman of the Committee gave information about the programs and projects implemented by the Committee, Azerbaijani houses and Coordination Councils operating abroad. Recalling that 22 million Poles live abroad Jan Michal Dziedziczak expressed his hope for the cooperation between Azerbaijani communities and the Poles living abroad.
The chairman of the Committee has told that there is an influx of Azerbaijanis to Poland for the purposes of studying and working and spoke about the importance of promoting Azerbaijani culture and speeding up the integration of Azerbaijanis into Polish society.
The views were exchanged on the further deepening of the friendly relations between our countries, the activities of the Azerbaijani diaspora and diaspora organizations in Poland, as well as the Polish community in Azerbaijan.
The meeting also focused on the bilateral cooperation in the field of diaspora and the prospects for future cooperation of the bodies responsible for the diaspora of the two countries.
