A delegation of the Azerbaijani Navy, led by First Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Navy, Captain 1st Rank Teymur Murshudov, arrived in Ankara to participate in the 10th Staff Talks between the Navies of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
This was reported by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense.
The Azerbaijani delegation first visited the Heydar Aliyev Park in Ankara, laid flowers at the monument to the National Leader, and honored his memory. The delegation then visited Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
The sides discussed cooperation between the navies of the two brotherly countries, emphasized the importance of experience exchange, and held a detailed exchange of views on various areas.
Following the talks, a protocol was signed on the development of cooperation between the navies of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
