He noted that the spread and dissemination of disinformation is not a new problem.
“Due to the widespread use of social media, disinformation and fake news spread quickly. It is very important to verify the truth of the news through multiple sources,” Trend quoted him as saying.
He emphasized that all media outlets must act to prevent the spread of fake news. “The Shusha Global Media Forum is one of the important steps taken in this direction,” Ovacık added.
“As a news agency, we closely monitor all processes in the region. It is very important for us to convey Azerbaijan’s position to the world. We have always done this and will continue to do so,” he noted.
