During the discussion, the leaders exchanged views on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as on pressing regional and global issues.
President Erdoğan emphasized that cooperation between the two nations would continue to strengthen in all areas, adhering to the principle of “One Nation, Two States.” He reiterated Türkiye’s unwavering support for achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus region and assured that Türkiye will always stand by Azerbaijan.
President Aliyev, in turn, highlighted that the brotherhood, friendship, and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are rooted in the same principle. He noted that the two nations have always supported one another.
The presidents also discussed prospects for collaboration between the two brotherly nations in 2025 and underscored the importance of maintaining regular contact.
