The four-year project for ‘Promoting Competitiveness, Collaboration, and Modernisation in the Fruit and Vegetable Sector in Lankaran Region’ aims to build small-medium scale farmers’ networks and introduce innovation.
“Lankaran has an undisputed potential in the production of high-value horticultural produce,” said the EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko. “This programme will focus on enhancing the competitiveness and value-added of the fruit and vegetable sector of the region in a sustainable manner and will continue to benefit many farmers and producers.”
A total of 3,000 people are expected to benefit from the project.
