Polling stations were open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
For the first time, the elections to the Milli Majlis took place throughout all of Azerbaijan, in every part of the sovereign republic. A total of 990 candidates vied for 125 parliamentary seats. The total number of voters in Azerbaijan was 6,421,960. About 600 international observers and more than 112,000 local observers monitored the elections. Web cameras were installed at 1,000 polling stations across the country.
It should be noted that the pre-election campaigning period was from August 9 until 8:00 AM on August 31.
