According to the agency, the presidents will exchange views on current regional and international political issues.
“Russia is ready to continue providing comprehensive assistance in normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia (…) The strategic partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan is developing dynamically,” stated the materials prepared for the Russian president’s visit to Baku.
It was noted that the key tasks remain the signing of a peace treaty, advancing the process of border delimitation and demarcation, and unblocking transport, logistics, and economic connections in the region based on the well-known trilateral agreements at the highest level from 2020-2022. “The Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement will be one of the topics of discussions between the leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan.”
