“We support the bilateral negotiation format as well. Ultimately, it is up to the two countries to decide how they will move forward, so we will support anything that ultimately leads to peace. We believe that the principles at the heart of the process – respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity – are fundamental,” he said.
Colomina noted that NATO does not take sides between partners unless there is a violation of the principles and fundamental elements of the UN Charter.
