During a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, the Acting Chairman of the OSCE, Jan Borg, stated, “Malta is very transparent and honest in its chairmanship. We will support Armenia and Azerbaijan so they can reach a durable and comprehensive peace agreement.”
“We know that both countries prefer to address issues bilaterally. We support this as the OSCE. Malta is a friend to both Armenia and Azerbaijan,” he added. This statement highlights Malta’s commitment to fostering peace and supporting direct dialogue between the two nations under its OSCE chairmanship.
