In an interview with British journalists, set to be broadcast today on Public TV of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Yerevan and Baku have begun the practical process of border delimitation, which he described as incredibly important.
“We have started the practical process of delimiting the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which is incredibly important, including for reducing security risks,” Pashinyan said.
According to him, it is necessary “to restore on the ground those borders that existed at the time of the USSR’s dissolution.”
“There is no need to draw new borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan; instead, we should restore on the ground those borders that existed at the time of the USSR’s collapse,” Pashinyan explained.
