The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes hostile behavior of the U.S. towards Azerbaijan

Regarding James O'Brien's comment on the temporary suspension of the 907th Amendment, there is an impression that the American side is repeating the mistake made in relation to Azerbaijan, which was subjected to sanctions due to this amendment, although it is a state that suffered aggression and occupation in 1992.

This was stated in a comment by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in response to inappropriate statements made by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State James O’Brien during the hearings at the Subcommittee on Europe of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

It is noted that the U.S.’s dismissive behavior in connection with the 907th Amendment is a malicious step against Azerbaijan.
