The US Department of State posted on Twitter that the United States welcomes the recent bilateral call between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s commitment to peace negotiations.
US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Andrew Schofer is to visit the region this week to discuss how the United States can best support the process, the State Department’s tweet says.
