The trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan in January-November 2022 reached $1.1 billion, 16.8 percent more than in the same period of 2021 ($999.5 million), National Statistics Office of Georgia reports.
According to the agency, Azerbaijan ranks fourth among Georgia’s main trade partners in January-November 2022.
In the reporting period, Turkey was Georgia’s main trading partner ($2.5 billion trade turnover), followed by Russia ($2.2 billion) and China ($1.6 billion).
Georgia reportedly imported $572.9 million worth of goods from Azerbaijan in that period, which is 12.1 percent more than in January-November 2021 ($511.2 million).
Meanwhile, Georgian exports to Azerbaijan in January-November 2022 increased by 21.9 percent compared to the same period last year ($488.2 million), reaching $595.4 million.
