A high-ranking State Department representative said so at a briefing this Friday, TASS reports.
“I would just say that the sanctions are not meant to be permanent,” she said, responding to a question about the conditions for lifting the restrictions. “They are a tool, and if we see the results we are trying to achieve in terms of ending Russian aggression, restoring Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, we hope that many of the tools we use <…> will stop being used.”
