Vardanyan wants to lure the “dead” Minsk Group to the territory of Azerbaijan

Losing hope of somehow influencing Azerbaijanis' peaceful protest, which has been going on for 25 days on the Shusha-Khankendi road, the separatists continue to push for sympathy. This time they decided to bring back the OSCE Minsk Group, may it rest in peace.

Ruben Vardanyan

Artur Tovmasyan, a member of Vardanyan’s and Harutyunyan’s criminal gang, has appealed today to the group that bit the dust as a result of the 44-day war, saying that the leaders of the co-chair countries should not only make targeted statements, but also take effective and visible steps to “unblock the road” that has allegedly led to a “humanitarian catastrophe”, Armenians’ new favorite phrase.

“Patients with serious health issues are deprived of necessary medicines and medical services,” Tovmasyan explains, while ICRC vehicles with all the necessary medicines freely go to Khankendi every day.

“There are no groceries, the stores are empty,” laments Tovmasyan, while the Armenians of the region share photos of their New Year’s Eve feasts on social media, refuting themselves.

Amid all these lies and disinformation, Tovmasyan wants the Khojaly airport to start operating, as this is allegedly the only way to solve the non-existent problems.

The remnants of the illegal junta in Karabakh being out of touch with reality is nothing new. They still believe that there are supposedly 120,000 of them, that they are an independent “state”, that they have a “parliament”, even “ministers”, and that they have the power to make decisions in the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan. But one cannot be so blind as not to see one simple truth: no one will come to the rescue.

The OSCE Minsk Group, which for 30 years has done nothing but try to drag out the conflict ad infinitum, is dead and will not come back to life. It was to its representatives’ advantage that the situation would never be resolved so that they could keep their jobs and hefty salaries. The last nail after Azerbaijan’s nails in its coffin was driven by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who said in Baku that the organization had lost its relevance, showing solidarity with Azerbaijan’s opinion.

As for the opening of an airport in the area of temporary responsibility of Russian peacekeepers, only the Azerbaijani authorities have the right to open airports in Azerbaijan. Several have already been put into operation in the Karabakh economic region. By the way, the airport in Khojaly will be opened as well. Armenians need not worry. But it will not be opened by them. We will do it when we come back to these parts of our country.

Tovmasyan and the likes of him must realize that if no one but the Armenians themselves have opposed the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan for 30 years, it is all the more impossible now, because the Karabakh conflict has been settled. What is happening now is internal affairs of our country, which must also be addressed. This includes at the very least the criminal network of Rubik Vardanyan and the illegal supply of weapons to the surviving holdovers of the Armenian army. Once the culprits are appropriately punished, the only remaining issue will be the reintegration of Karabakh Armenians into the Azerbaijani society. This is how it will go down. Baku will solve its problems on its own. No one tells us what to do. Especially a useless institution like the OSCE MG.
