The heads of state expressed satisfaction with the successful development of fraternal, friendly, and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, according to Azertag.
The meeting discussed the expansion of energy, transport, economic, and trade ties between the two countries, as well as cooperation in defense, the military-industrial sector, and other areas. The expansion of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway was particularly noted, emphasizing the importance of joint activities between the two countries in developing the Middle Corridor.
The significance of further developing the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and cooperation between the fraternal countries was also reiterated, highlighting the importance of the upcoming informal summit of the OTS in Shusha.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that he would participate in the informal summit in Shusha and conveyed congratulations on the occasion of COP29 being held in Azerbaijan.
Our head of state once again invited the President of Turkey to COP29.
