According to the Ministry of Energy, Azerbaijan exported a total of 12.7 billion cubic meters of gas in the first half of this year, which is 6% more than the corresponding period last year.
In the January-June period of this year, Azerbaijan sold 5 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey and 1.3 billion cubic meters to Georgia. The volume of gas exports to Turkey and Georgia remained unchanged compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, about 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas were transported to Turkey via the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP), which is equivalent to last year’s figure.
