Nass lauded the growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and expressed the keenness of the private sector in consolidating efforts with its Azeri counterpart to step-up trade, investment, and partnerships.
BCCI chief cited the modest trade volume between both countries, which stood at 689.3 thousand U.S dollars in 2020, stressing the importance of stimulating trade and expanding partnerships to mitigate the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic and expedite economic recovery.
Ambassador Shahin Abdullayev reiterated pride in the growing ties between Bahrain and Azerbaijan. He touched upon the extensive reforms in his country and called on Bahraini investors and business owners to explore opportunities in infrastructure, development projects, agriculture, food security, tourism, information and communication technology, and renewable energy. He also praised the outcomes of the recently held GCC-Azerbaijan Business Forum, stressing on the need to hold similar events to highlight opportunities and connect business owners.
