“We want to emphasize that in this particular case, the cargo arrived from an EU country, France, and was sent to Armenia, a country against which no sanctions are applied. At the same time, in the absence of clear instructions from the Georgian government and restrictions imposed by international regulatory bodies, the multipurpose port APM Terminals Poti does not have the ability to unjustifiably refuse to accept cargoes that are not under sanctions,” stated the representatives in Poti.
Georgia confirms transit of French ‘Bastions’ to Armenia
In response to an inquiry by the Georgian service of Radio Free Europe, APM Terminals Poti confirmed the transit of French armored vehicles "Bastion" through Georgian territory to Armenia.
