The decision of the Uzbek Government is regarded as a vivid example of practical implementation of the core tasks identified by the Heads of State on expanding the transit potential of the region through generating favourable conditions, facilitating the transport operations and reducing transportation costs.
While calling the other Member States for taking similar measures, we are of the firm conviction that such steps will give a positive impetus to the further development of transport cooperation, open up new prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment ties, and increase the transport and transit potential of the entire Turkic region.
